[Content Warning: This page has actual photos of actual testicles. (Well, technically photos of scrotums, but whatever…) The photos are hidden by default and will be labeled before you reach them.]

Let’s spend a brief moment here talking about the penis’ southern neighbors: The Testicles.

The testicles reside within a hanging bag of skin called the scrotum, so you can’t actually see the testicles themselves. However, that little fact doesn’t stop people from calling the entire deal the testicles. The skin of the scrotum is loose, stretchy, generally covered with hair, and can be fairly sensitive. Inside the scrotum are hard, egg-shaped lumps called testes that are attached to the body by tubes and muscles. They usually come in a pair, with one slightly smaller and one slightly lower. They have considerable freedom of movement within the scrotum. In some cases, the shape and position of the testicles inside can be visible and well-defined, sometimes not. There is a ridge or seam of thick skin that typically runs along the middle of the scrotum, called the raphe.

Although it may seem like they don’t do much other than just hang out, they are constantly on the move. Depending on the temperature, amount of stimulation, level of arousal, and other factors (some which can’t easily be quantified), the testicles will ascend or descend, and the skin of the scrotum will loosen or tighten. At one extreme, the testicles are barely a bump against the body, at the other extreme, they will hang loosely several inches away. Even when nothing’s going on, they will gradually shift position on their own. Movement of the testicles is typically pretty slow. This movement is completely involuntary, the muscles in that area cannot be controlled.

The testicles are a multipurpose factory. They produce testosterone, which is a body-altering hormone and sperm, which are microscopic swimming cells that are occasionally cast out of the body in large numbers and have a tendency to turn into babies if one is not careful about where they are cast. While many people appreciate these factory products, there are a significant number of testicle owners would would prefer that the factory were shut down and boarded up.

While the penis can be twisted and squeezed and pulled in all manner of directions (and, in fact, sometimes rewards such treatment), the testicles are notoriously sensitive to any form of mistreatment. They are especially not fans of compression. The reaction can range from slight discomfort (which may force the owner to adjust how they’re sitting or rearrange some clothing) to debilitatingly painful (which may force the owner to fall to the ground and stop moving except to whimper for several minutes). It is therefore absolutely ridiculous that they have been placed outside the body in an area where fast moving objects may be guided by the legs in for a direct hit. It is hoped by many that a future revision will correct this placement mistake.

That is not to say that all contact is to be avoided. More gentle efforts can be rewarding. If you are not the owner, it is imperative that you seek the permission of and advice from the owner before attempting to do anything with or near the testicles.

Beyond this point are photos of actual testicles. These photos contain nudity.  There is no text content outside of the image descriptions, and no additional page content beyond this point.

This image contains actual nudity. This photo is a pair of images of the same testicles at different times, illustrating the difference between a tight and loose scrotum. This view is from the front. On the image of the loose scrotum, the general shape and size of the testicles is visible. Part of the shaft of the penis is visible, but it is not the focus of the image.

This image contains actual nudity. This image is a frontal view of a flaccid penis resting in front of the scrotum/testicles. This image is provided as an overview of a typical configuration to give a sense of positioning and scale. The scrotum is relatively loose in this photo and the general shape of the testes within is visible.
